MUMBAI INDIANS WIN THEIR 8TH GAME IN THIS VIVO IPL 2019 SEASON.
The match which was b/w MI AND SRH , MI won easily in the super over
Mumbai winning the toss first elected to bat first and could score only 162 runs that too on a batting pitch with a lot of dew.
Rohit Sharma gave a good start for the team by middling each and every ball and hit 5 boundaries but got out when score was 36 in 6th over.
After that de kock,highest run scorer of this match for MI scored 69 runs and made a good partnership with surya Kumar yadav.
But surya too got out in a short time,successive fall of wickets of yadav and Lewis bought few difficulties onto team.
At this point all hopes were on Hardik pandya but he got out real soon scoring just 18 runs.
After that Pollard too got out soon with the team having no hopes on reaching at least till 160 runs but at Thais time krunal pandya scored 9 runs in 3 balls hitting a six, making the team score reach 160
Chase was tough for SRH as after the fall of wicket of saha all wickets fell continuously in a row.
First saha got out then guptill ,Kane Williamson.
At this time Vijay shankar though did NT score much but still was in crease supporting Manish Landry who was playing exceptionally well.
After he got out even abhishek Sharma got out soon.
At this moment nabi was along with Manish pandey also scored 31 runs in 20 balls ,bought the team to winning position.
In the last over req runs were 17 and 7 runs in 1 ball.
At this point Manish Landry hit a six and tied the game.
It resulted for a super over
SRH batted first and scored just 8 runs and 2 wickets fell down in 4 balls leaving no hopes
For MI Hardik pandya and Pollard came to bat and in first ball Hardik pandya hit a six and bought the team into their hands
Later he took a run,Pollard completed the game by scoring 2 runs.
